What is stored

Notes, archived notes, pin state, positions, timers, and settings are stored on the justtype origin.

What is not sent

This version does not send notes to a backend service. It does not include analytics, ads, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts.

Important limitation

Browser localStorage is not encrypted storage. Anyone with access to the browser profile, a malicious browser extension, or JavaScript that runs on this origin could read stored notes.

Do not use this version for passwords, highly sensitive secrets, medical data, financial data, or legal records.
